When you're stuck, stop poking at objects and just look. Walk slowly through every room you've unlocked and read the notes again. The game plants its clues early and expects you to remember them. Nine times out of ten the answer is something you saw an hour ago.

We also learned to trust that the game plays fair. It never asks for a solution you couldn't reasonably work out. If a puzzle feels unfair, you're usually missing a detail, not being tricked. That mindset alone unstuck us more than once.
